This is a real cool hoop trick posted by Sharna Rose. Grab two hoops, get one going on your knee, kick a leg out and step through the other hoop while the one knee continues to hoop. Now stick that leg back on the hoop and kick the other one out and take the second hoop off your body again……WOW!

Learn how to start doing a knee stall or reversal. Start hooping in “orbit” around the body. Lift your knee up to your waist and as your hoop comes around to your front hook your knee on hoop and force hoop in opposite direction. Use your left hand and your right knee. The momentum from your knees forces it back into the opposite direction for you to be able to go left to right continuously. To go in the other direction, start with your right hand and your left knee.
Hoop Tricks; Learn to jump out of your hoop, yet another way.
Start by hooping on your body and grabbing the hoop behind your back. Keep twirling the hoop as you tilt the hoop opposite your hand away from your body and then jump out of it. Viola! You have learned a new trick with your hula hoop.
This is a pretty classes hooping move where the hoop is spun on a vertical axis at the side of your body. As the hoop goes in front and you see that open space, step your leg through and at the same time bring your front hand to between your legs and grab the hoop from your hand that is behind you. As you grab with the front hand, lift your other leg and bring the hoop off your body.
First off you need to have your support leg and then your other leg is going to be the leg that gives the hoop momentum. As you hoop try using one leg to push and bump the hoop as it comes in contact with you. Another way to knee hoop is to begin, stand straight and place the hoop at your knees, just so it is touching the back of your knees. Give the Hula Hoop a twirl and spread your arms out for balance. Move your knees back and forth in a circular motion to keep it going.
