An easy way to learn to Hoop on your foot is to lay down on your back, put your leg up(in this video she is using her Left foot to start and actually HOOPING on her Right foot.) Put the Hula Hoop on the top of your Left foot and next put your Right foot INSIDE your Hoop. Hold onto your Hoop with both hands and use your hands to position your hoop where it needs to be.Your hands will guide your Hoop first, then your Left foot will start the trick. Both of your feet are going to work together to get the Hoop going in the counter-clock wise direction. You will “push off” with the Left foot and will begin Hooping on your Right Foot! You’ll see that most of the movement is in your foot, and ankle, not really using your leg. You will need to be able to hold your leg up for a bit though! Sneak your other foot up your leg and switch feet. Going back and forth a few times is the way to get really good at this!
The other 2 ways to Learn how to Hoop on your Foot is to have the Hoop spinning on your hand, lay on your back(or begin on your side) and “steal” the Hula Hoop from your hand and put it on your Foot.

Start by hula hooping around your body using your hands to carry the hoop in an orbit around your body. Then you are going to place the hoop on your ankle. If you are hooping counter clockwise, then place the hoop on your left ankle, if you are hooping clockwise, use your right ankle. Once the hoop is hooked on your ankle, sweep your leg around behind your body and over to its opposite side. As the hoop come over to the opposite side of your body and before it hits your back, grab the hoop off your ankle and resume the body orbit.

Start by spinning the hoop towards your self in the wall plane. Look to the hand that is spinning the hoop and place the hoop on your arm with enough momentum so that the hoop will roll all the way over to your other hand. Did I forget to mention that your chest is going to need to be angled towards the floor? Watch the hoop roll down your arm and then turn your head to look for the hoop so you can grab it and keep on hooping.

Hoop Tricks; Duck In.
Start by spinning your hula hoop around your body, doing a body orbit as I believe it is called. Bring the hoop behind your back and then bend over bringing your chest to the ground. At the same time your hoop is going to start rotating around your thumb that is pointed towards the sky. When the hoop twirls over your back and you can see the open space it creates, bend up into the hoop and use your hand to give it s whirl and keep the momentum going.
Viola, you just ducked in!

Learn do do hoop isolations.
An isolation is a point in space that does not move, whether that is an actual object or an imaginary line.
Grab your hula hoop and put your hands on either side of it, imagine that there is a hub in the middle and that you are going to be moving your hoop around that fixed hub, much like the steering wheel of a car.
